Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte is seeking a Generator Service Engineering Manager to lead a dedicated service engineering team. You will ensure accurate product definitions are released on schedule and within budget, while driving accountability, quality, and continuous improvement across engineering workflows.

You will oversee resource planning and forecasting for generator service orders, provide technical guidance, and review customer orders to meet specifications and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in project engineering.
• Experience leading technical project execution.
• Ability to manage project schedules, resources, risks, and deliverables.
• Ability to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness of engineering deliverables within timelines and budgets.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of service engineers, setting objectives and providing guidance.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for generator service orders.
• Ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of engineering deliverables and customer orders.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve technical challenges.
• Escalate and resolve technical issues related to generator service orders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive project execution and customer satisfaction.
