MISO is seeking an Engineer II – Generation Interconnection to support the grid by performing power system studies and evaluating generation resources. You will collaborate with interconnection customers, transmission owners, and internal teams to advance projects and ensure safe, reliable interconnection of resources.

The role offers a base salary of $109,000–$134,000 USD annually with annual bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in an engineering discipline.
• 2 years of experience in power system planning/operations or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Lead critical power system studies: independently manage studies involving interconnection and HVDC requests.
• Support generation interconnection: conduct affected system studies for interconnection requests and advise solutions.
• Collaborate with Transmission Owners: review projects and provide technical recommendations.
• Represent MISO: contribute to committees, task forces, and working groups.
• Solve complex problems: apply engineering judgment ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
