Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. is seeking an experienced Service Technician for Commercial Generators.

The role focuses on maintenance and repair of generator and power distribution equipment, with on-site customer support and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Ideal candidates will have at least three years of field experience, knowledge of automatic transfer systems, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent and related field experience.
• Three years of field experience servicing generator systems.
• Experience with Automatic Transfer Systems and loadbanking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing maintenance and repair of generator and power distribution equipment.
• Provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects.
• Daily travel and on-site service at customer locations.
• Complete Field Service Reports and time/expense documentation timely.
