Austin Regional Clinic is seeking a part-time Surgery Scheduler (32hrs) in Round Rock, TX. You will schedule surgeries, verify insurance benefits, and coordinate with physicians and staff to maintain accurate schedules in EPIC and Outlook. This role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, confidentiality, and excellent patient communication.

The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with two half-days; benefits are offered to eligible team members per company policy.

Qualifikationen

• Required: High school diploma or GED and experience in a medical office.
• Preferred: 3+ years in a surgical setting including scheduling surgeries.
• Knowledge of ICD/CPT coding and medical terminology.

Aufgaben

• Schedule patient surgeries at local surgery centers and hospitals (pre/post op).
• Obtain insurance authorizations and verify benefits.
• Maintain EPIC and Outlook calendars with physician schedule changes.
• Coordinate implants/devices and surgical staff coverage as needed.
• Communicate pre-surgery instructions and scheduling updates to patients.
