Job summary

Jobot is seeking a General Superintendent for ground-up multifamily projects in Virginia Beach. You will serve as a field leader, overseeing multiple superintendent teams, coordinating scheduling, logistics, and safety on high-profile developments.

You should have strong communication skills, proficiency with project management tools, and experience reading drawings and specs. On-site role with a solid pipeline and competitive compensation including benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as General/Senior Superintendent or equivalent field leadership in ground-up commercial construction.
• Ground-up multifamily construction experience.
• Experience managing multiple superintendents and field teams.
• Oversight from sitework through turnover with strong scheduling/logistics knowledge.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
• Experience leading jobsite safety initiatives and enforcing safety standards.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Leading subcontractor and field coordination meetings.
• Knowledge of building codes, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with project management and field technology platforms.
