Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation seeks a General Superintendent to oversee field operations for large-scale data center campuses across the United States. You will lead Superintendent teams, drive schedules from sitework through turnover, and coordinate with owners, design teams and trades to ensure delivery commitments are met.

Candidates should bring 15+ years of field leadership in data centers or technically demanding construction, with experience managing ground-up projects and multi-building

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive field leadership in data centers or technically demanding construction.
• Experience overseeing large ground-up projects or multi-building campuses.
• Leads Senior Superintendents, Superintendents and field teams across concurrent scopes.
• Strong mastery of master scheduling, sequencing, site logistics and workforce planning.
• Ability to resolve critical-path constraints and direct recovery strategies.
• Understanding of civil, structural, architectural, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Coordinating commissioning readiness and phased turnover with commissioning teams.
• Maintain safety, quality and execution standards across field operations.
• Open to nationwide travel assignments.

Location: United States | Nationwide Travel Highly Preferred

Leading national General Contractor seeking General Superintendents to oversee field operations across large-scale, ground-up data center projects throughout the United States.

This role provides overall field leadership across multiple buildings, phases or projects, directing Superintendent teams and aligning workforce, logistics and construction schedules from sitework through turnover.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of progressive field leadership experience in data centers, complex industrial, manufacturing or other technically demanding construction
• Proven experience overseeing large, ground-up projects or multi-building campuses
• Experience leading Senior Superintendents, Superintendents and field teams across concurrent construction scopes
• Strong command of master scheduling, construction sequencing, site logistics and workforce planning
• Ability to evaluate project progress, resolve critical-path constraints and direct recovery strategies
• Strong understanding of civil, structural, architectural and complex electrical and mechanical systems
• Experience overseeing commissioning readiness, phased turnover and coordination between construction and commissioning teams
• Ability to establish and enforce consistent safety, quality and execution standards across field operations
• Experience partnering with project executives, owners, design teams and trade leadership to resolve issues and maintain delivery commitments
• Direct mission-critical experience preferred; substantial experience leading complex technical construction will also be considered
• Open to nationwide travel assignments

Core Build: Ground-up data center campuses, including sitework, concrete, structural steel, building envelope, electrical and mechanical infrastructure, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, cooling systems, controls, commissioning and phased turnover.
