Overview

We are seeking an experienced General Superintendent to lead field operations on a large-scale hyperscale data center project. This role is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and coordination across multiple trades in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

This is a high-impact leadership role requiring deep expertise in data center construction, strong team management, and the ability to drive performance across complex, multi-phase builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all field operations across the project lifecycle from ground-up through commissioning and handover
• Oversee multiple Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and trade partners across civil, structural, MEP, and commissioning phases
• Drive project schedule execution, ensuring milestones are met in line with client expectations and contractual requirements
• Champion a zero-incident safety culture, enforcing strict adherence to health & safety standards
• Coordinate closely with Project Management, Engineering, and Commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration of systems
• Lead daily and weekly site coordination meetings with subcontractors and internal stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate construction risks, proactively resolving field issues to maintain progress
• Ensure quality control standards are met, particularly around mission-critical systems (electrical, mechanical, and controls)
• Oversee logistics planning, site sequencing, and material flow for high-density construction environments
• Support commissioning efforts, including system readiness, inspections, and turnover documentation

Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of construction experience, with 5+ years in a Superintendent or General Superintendent role
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including electrical distribution, HVAC, and critical infrastructure
• Experience managing large teams across multiple trades and phases simultaneously
• Deep understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and field coordination
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-track, high-pressure environments with demanding timelines
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
