Job Title: General Store Cashier / Stocker

Reports to: General Manager

General Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Inform customers about products and store promotions.
• Establish or identify prices of goods and apply price stickers.
• Scan or key in the price of merchandise.
• Calculate the total price for customers.
• Assist in developing window and counter displays under the supervision of the General Manager.
• Keep stock rooms organized and clean.
• Interact professionally and friendly with customers.
• Encourage sales and promote the Memphis experience.
• Be knowledgeable about sister venues such as Blues City Café, Club 152 on Beale, etc.
• Check inventory upon receiving incoming merchandise, invoice, and confirm shipments.
• Handle cash and credit transactions honestly and professionally.
• Control and verify outgoing merchandise.
• Receive payments, reconcile sales, and prepare deposits.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in checkout areas, stock rooms, and the store.
• Participate in inventory counts and other assigned duties.
• Prioritize workload effectively and stay calm in busy environments.
• Be versatile and participate in other activities as required.

Requirements

Required:
