Job Title: General Store Cashier / Stocker

Reports to: General Manager

General Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide information about products and services.
• Establish or identify prices of goods and apply price stickers.
• Scan merchandise and determine total prices.
• Assist in developing window and counter displays under the supervision of the General Manager.
• Keep stock rooms organized and clean.
• Interact professionally and friendly with customers.
• Encourage sales and promote the Memphis experience.
• Be knowledgeable about sister venues such as Blues City Café, Club 152 on Beale, etc.
• Check inventory upon receiving shipments and confirm shipments.
• Handle cash and credit transactions honestly and professionally.
• Control and verify outgoing merchandise and reconcile payments with sales.
• Prepare deposits, close the register, and manage the float.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in checkout areas, stock rooms, and the store.
• Participate in inventory counts and other assigned duties.
• Prioritize workload effectively and remain calm in busy environments.
• Be versatile and participate in various activities as needed.

Requirements
