Job Title: General Store Cashier / Stocker

Reports to: General Manager

General Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers.
• Provide information about products and services.
• Price goods and apply price stickers.
• Scan or enter merchandise prices.
• Calculate total prices.
• Assist in developing window and counter displays under supervision.
• Keep stock rooms organized and clean.
• Interact professionally and courteously with customers.
• Encourage sales and promote the Memphis experience.
• Be knowledgeable about sister venues such as Blues City Café, Club 152 on Beale, etc.
• Check inventory upon receiving merchandise to invoice and confirm shipment.
• Handle cash and credit transactions honestly and professionally.
• Control and verify outgoing merchandise.
• Reconcile payments with sales and prepare deposits.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout areas, stock rooms, and store.
• Follow company controls and procedures.
• Stay attentive in busy environments.
• Participate in inventory counts as scheduled.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Prioritize workload effectively.
