Job Title: General Store Cashier / Stocker

Reports to: General Manager

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers effectively.
• Inform customers about products and services.
• Establish or identify prices of goods and apply price stickers.
• Scan or key in merchandise prices and determine total prices.
• Participate in creating window and counter displays under the supervision of the General Manager.
• Keep stock rooms organized and clean.
• Interact professionally and friendly with customers.
• Encourage sales and promote the Memphis experience.
• Be knowledgeable about sister venues such as Blues City Café, Club 152 on Beale, etc.
• Check inventory upon receiving shipments, invoice, and confirm shipments.
• Handle cash and credit transactions honestly and professionally.
• Control and check outgoing merchandise, reconcile payments, and prepare deposits.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in checkout areas, stock rooms, and store.
• Participate in inventory counts and perform other related duties as assigned.
• Prioritize workload, remain calm and focused, and be versatile in activities.

Requirements
