Job Title: General Store Cashier / Stocker

Reports to: General Manager

General Responsibilities:

1. Greet and assist customers.
2. Inform customers about products and services.
3. Establish or identify prices of goods and apply price stickers.
4. Scan or key in merchandise prices and determine total prices.
5. Participate in creating window and counter displays under the supervision of the General Manager.
6. Keep stock rooms organized and clean.
7. Interact professionally and friendly with customers.
8. Encourage sales and promote the Memphis experience.
9. Be knowledgeable about sister venues such as Blues City Café, Club 152 on Beale, etc.
10. Check inventory upon receiving incoming merchandise, invoice, and confirm shipment.
11. Handle cash and credit transactions honestly and professionally.
12. Control and check outgoing merchandise.
13. Reconcile payments with sales totals, prepare deposits, and close the register.
14. Maintain cleanliness and order in checkout areas, stock rooms, and store.
15. Submit to controls and remain attentive in busy environments.
16. Participate in monthly or quarterly inventory counts.
17. Perform other related duties as assigned.
18. Prioritize workload effectively.
19. Stay calm, focused, and versatile in various activities.
