Job Title: General Store Cashier / Stocker

Reports to: General Manager

General Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide information about products and services.
• Establish or identify prices of goods and apply price stickers.
• Scan or key in merchandise prices and determine total prices.
• Assist in developing window and counter displays under supervision.
• Keep stock rooms organized and maintain cleanliness.
• Interact professionally and friendly with customers, encouraging sales and enhancing the Memphis experience.
• Be knowledgeable about sister venues such as Blues City Café, Club 152 on Beale, etc.
• Check inventory upon receiving merchandise, invoice, and confirm shipments.
• Handle cash and credit transactions honestly and professionally.
• Control and check outgoing merchandise, reconcile payments, and prepare deposits.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of checkout areas, stock rooms, and the store.
• Participate in inventory counts and other assigned duties.
• Prioritize workload, remain calm in busy environments, and be versatile as needed.

Requirements

Required:

• Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships and make quick decisions.
