Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Odessa, TX, seeks a General Services Supervisor to manage a unit within a department, plan goals, supervise staff, and liaise with administrators and outside agencies.

You will oversee daily operations of general services, including parking and mail, manage space allocation, ensure smooth workflow, and conduct performance evaluations while maintaining high service standards across internal departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus three years of supervisory experience.
• OR a combination of education and supervisory experience to equal seven years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of general services, to include, but not limited to, parking and mail services.
• Assist with managing space allocation and office setup.
• Ensure smooth workflow and service delivery.
• Monitor service performance and efficiency.
• Train and supervise general services staff.
• Assign duties and manage schedules.
• Conduct performance evaluations.
• Maintain records of surplus assets and equipment.
• Maintain high service standards for internal departments.
