Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other store areas (meat, bakery, produce and deli) helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate to team members with clear and precise direction.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and address root causes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information and use that information to make informed decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor team members in all areas of the organization including SDITs, team members in hourly positions and team leaders.
• Successful completion of all required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in day-to-day operations.
• Mentor and coach for all team members and ensure service quality.
• Ensure staffing and hiring to meet department needs.
• Promote succession planning and career development.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions as needed.
• Oversee P&L, sales achievement and shrink reduction.
• Model exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Maintain training and ensure staff complete required training.
• Spend most time in-store interacting with customers and team members to deliver service.
