Job summary

Harps is seeking a General Merchandise Manager to oversee department operations, staffing, pricing, inventory, displays, and safety. You will ensure readiness, maintain standards, and drive a positive customer experience aligned with Harps’ mission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in general merchandise preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast paced environment.
• Moves, lifts, carries and places merchandise and supplies weighing up to 60 pounds without assistance.
• Stands and/or walks frequently throughout shift.
• Employment at Harps may be contingent upon completion and our evaluation of PEP survey, drug screen, employment reference check and criminal background check

• Maintain department readiness, displays and signing to standards.
• Manage replenishment, ordering, receiving, invoicing, back stock, reclamation, returns and damages.
• Drive customer service and hospitality following the SMILE Program guidelines.
• Coach and mentor staff, resolve conflicts and build relationships while upholding Harps policies.
