• Experience mentoring team members and developing talent.
• Completion of required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise day-to-day store operations across departments.
• Serve as mentor and coach for team members.
• Implement strategies to improve customer service and drive sales.
• Maintain store appearance and ensure adherence to company standards.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Provide career development paths and promotion decisions when applicable.
• Manage P&L, control shrink, and achieve department sales targets.
• Ensure training completion and safety compliance.
• Communicate Meijer Friendly Initiative in team meetings.
