Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a General Manager I to lead facility operations and financial performance at a large warehouse. You will direct a team handling performance, inventory, vendor, carrier and customer relationships to ensure accurate order selection and damage-free packing for timely delivery.

The role requires a strong background in warehouse operations, P&L oversight, and cross-functional collaboration across facilities, with a focus on safety, quality, cost control and delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field is required.
• 7–10 years of overall experience managing a 100,000+ sq ft warehouse/distribution center with revenues up to $1M.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan preferred).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of warehouse/mechanical equipment.
• Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, FDA regulations and willingness to become certified as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong prioritization and judgment under pressure.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operational procedures for incoming/outgoing shipments, inventory control, and high accuracy.
• Develops and implements a facility strategy by shaping requirements and resources.
• Plans long-term labor needs based on sales, forecasts and historical data.
• Analyzes workload versus labor hours and equipment usage.
• Manages up to 100 employees during non-peak times and collaborates with other facilities.
