Job summary

The Vault at The National in Oklahoma City seeks a General Manager to own the guest experience and the business. You will lead a diverse team across bartending, service, hosts, and supervisors, driving excellence in service, cocktails, wine, and spirits while ensuring financial performance.

You will manage private events, VIP experiences, and day-to-day operations with a focus on consistency, safety, and a history-forward hospitality experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading a high-end cocktail bar, lounge, or hotel F&B operation.
• At least 2 years in a General Manager or senior leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktails, and beverage service.
• P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control experience.
• Experience with private events, VIPs, and table-reservation programs.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced, late-night hospitality environment.
• Proficiency with POS, reservation, scheduling, inventory, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of bartenders, servers, hosts, and supervisors in a high-volume environment.
• Drive guest experiences through exceptional service, hospitality, and attention to detail.
• Oversee The Vault’s beverage program including cocktails, wine, and beer.
• Maintain recipe consistency, presentation, glassware, and service standards.
• Manage venue financials: revenue, labor, beverage costs, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Create schedules that balance guest experience with business needs.
• Coordinate VIP reservations, events, and private buyouts.
• Coach staff through pre-shifts and ongoing performance development.
• Partner with Sales & Catering for private events and experiential activations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
