Job summary

Ruth's Chris Steak House is seeking a General Manager in Marina Del Rey, CA to lead daily operations and drive guest satisfaction. The GM will manage staff, budgets, and procedures to ensure premier dining experiences.

Responsibilities include overseeing financials, staffing, reservations, and vendor relations, while maintaining the brand standards and delivering a top-tier guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct facility walk-through to ensure a clean, safe and guest-friendly atmosphere and ambiance.
• Complete administrative office tasks: emails, voicemails, sales reports, invoices, deliveries.
• Review daily sales reports and ensure financial information, deposits, payroll, and invoices are accurate and submitted on time.
• Communicate discrepancies or notable information to management and corporate staff to avoid surprises.
• Review reservations and events daily to ensure proper staffing based on projected volume.
• Perform kitchen/bar line checks and review inventory with the Chef to ensure quality and quantity of food.
• Set and achieve budgeted sales and profit levels; adjust plans to meet budgets and cost guidelines.
• Lead pre-shift meetings to review menu changes, promotions, and staff issues.
• Rotate through restaurant stations during service to monitor activity and provide feedback.
• Interact with guests to resolve issues and ensure a 'Raving Fan' experience.
• Complete closing duties, process tips and payroll, and submit end-of-day reports to Corporate.
