Beyond Catering is seeking a General Manager in Training in Hoffman Estates, IL. This role develops future General Managers and offers a Managing Partner Program with ownership and profit-sharing pathways within the organization.

You will lead a large team, manage budgets, forecast revenue, and drive sales while upholding our family culture and policies. A strong leadership mindset and restaurant knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead 10+ team members per shift.
• Work with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant practices and procedures.
• Strong administrative, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritizing skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets.
• Recognize revenue areas and development strategies to impact sales.
• Enforce and execute advertising, marketing plans, HR and training materials.
• Manage and control direct expenses.
• Direct labor, food cost variances, repairs and maintenance, discounts, and other direct expenses.
• Selection, retention, supervision, and training of all employees.
• Conduct quarterly reviews and adhere to training programs.
• Determine advancement, termination, and develop employees into shift managers.
• Provide guidance to a talented team and lead them toward success.
