Beyond Catering in Lakemoor, IL is seeking a General Manager in Training to develop future General Managers and leaders. The role offers a clear pathway to ownership through our Managing Partner Program and profit-sharing opportunities.

You will oversee restaurant operations, drive sales targets, manage budgets, staff scheduling, and training to ensure exceptional guest experiences. This position rewards leadership with growth, bonuses, and a family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading 10+ team members per shift.
• Experience working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant practices, concepts and procedures.
• Strong administrative, multi-tasking, organizational and prioritizing skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets.
• Recognize all revenue areas and development strategies to impact sales.
• Enforce and execute advertising and marketing plans, and HR and training materials.
• Manage and control direct expenses.
• Direct labor, food cost variances, repairs and maintenance, discounts, and other direct expenses.
• Selection, retention, supervision, and training of all employees.
• Conduct quarterly reviews.
• Adhere to established training programs.
• Determine advancement/termination.
• Develop employees into shift managers.
• Provide guidance to our talented team and lead them toward success.
