Job summary

Beyond Catering is seeking a General Manager in Training (GMIT) to develop future General Managers and to offer a Managing Partner Program that creates a pathway to ownership, profit-sharing, and long-term leadership within our organization.

The role focuses on driving sales, optimizing staffing, and implementing training initiatives to build a strong leadership bench for our restaurant group.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a 10+ member team per shift.
• Budget, payroll, revenue, and forecasting experience.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant practices, concepts, and procedures.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets.
• Recognize revenue areas & development strategies to impact sales.
• Enforce and execute advertising and marketing plans, and HR and training materials.
• Manage and control direct expenses.
• Direct labor, food cost variances, repairs and maintenance, discounts, and other direct expenses.
• Selection, retention, supervision, and training of all employees.
• Conduct quarterly reviews.
• Adhere to established training programs.
• Determine advancement/termination.
• Develop employees into shift managers.
• Provide guidance to our talented & motivated team and lead them toward success.
