Job summary

Beyond Catering is seeking a General Manager-in-Training to develop future General Managers and to provide a pathway to ownership through the Managing Partner Program. The role focuses on sales growth, operational excellence, and leadership development within a family‑oriented, growth‑mased culture.

Successful candidates will lead teams, manage budgets, and implement advertising and HR training materials while driving performance and retention across the operation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading 10+ team members per shift.
• Experience working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant practices, concepts, and procedures.
• Excellent administrative, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritizing skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets
• Recognize all revenue areas & development strategies to impact sales
• Enforce and execute advertising and marketing plans, and HR and training materials
• Manage and control direct expenses
• Direct labor, food cost variances, repairs and maintenance, discounts, and other direct expenses
• Selection, retention, supervision, and training of all employees
• Conduct quarterly reviews
• Adhere to established training programs
• Determine advancement/termination
• Develop employees into shift managers
• Provide guidance to our talented & motivated team and lead them toward success
