Job summary

DSV Air & Sea SAU in Fort Worth, Texas, seeks a General Manager of Operations to lead the site with a strategic focus on safety, financial performance, and client satisfaction. You will drive Lean practices, Six Sigma initiatives, and continuous improvement across budgeting, staffing, and operations while building client relationships.

The role reports to senior leadership and requires strong leadership, budgeting, and CRM skills to grow the business while ensuring ISO and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Budgeting and P&L management experience required.
• At least 3 years of experience in an operations management related position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manpower, recruitment, retention, and development of people for the operation.
• Ensure procedures exist at all sites to guarantee client service, productivity, as well as facilities and equipment maintenance
• Set goals to provide continuous improvement for assigned site.
• Ensure overall safety and security of assigned operations and staff.
• Develop and mentor teams, align service requirements with client expectations, and manage KPIs.
• Lead budgeting, cost controls, and profitability targets for the operation.
• Act as site-level champion of client relationship management and lead business reviews.
