Job summary

Jobtailor in Columbus, OH is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee systems and procedures for safe, profitable distribution. You will lead the operations to meet productivity and service goals and ensure compliance with client site agreements.

The role requires 7 years in logistics/distribution and 5 years in leadership, strong Microsoft Office and WMS skills, and the ability to communicate across all levels.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 7 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 5 years’ experience in a leadership role in logistics/distribution/supply chain environment in operations management capacity.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point).
• Demonstrated proficiency in knowledge of applicable WMS systems.
• Proficiency in business communication at all levels.
