Job summary

Jobtailor in Sterling, VA seeks a Logistics Supervisor to oversee inbound and outbound labor management, plan daily activities, and ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will lead staff meetings, develop systems for equipment and product handling, and drive continuous improvement to meet productivity and service goals. The role requires hands-on supervision, training new staff, and contributing to performance reviews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3 years’ experience in logistics/distribution/relevant environment
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role
• Forklift training program certification
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with RF Scanners and WMS functions
• English language proficiency (reading, writing, verbal)
