Job summary

Jobtailor in Bridgeport, CT seeks a seasoned logistics leader to direct operations, drive compliance, and deliver strong financial results. You will act as the main interface with customers for proposals and contract negotiations, while championing LEAN and ISO initiatives across the site.

You will also develop marketing plans to grow new business and ensure operations, equipment, and processes align with the corporate mission and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 5 years’ experience in leadership role in logistics/distribution/supply chain operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated knowledge of WMS systems.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, verbal).

• Serve as a primary customer interface for all leadership decisions regarding proposal approval and contract negotiations
• Champion of overseeing local continuous improvement activities, LEAN practices, supply chain analysis, six sigma initiatives, and ISO activities
• Develop marketing plans and assist in growing new business
• Ensure adherence to the overall corporate mission, vision, and core values while consistently meeting client and company expectations
• Ensure systems and procedures are in place for managing operations, equipment, and products in a safe and profitable manner

Requirements
