Job summary

Aramark is seeking a General Manager to plan, manage, and guide multiple contracted services for a client typically generating $2–15M+ in revenue. You will lead a team to meet operating and financial goals, building strong client relationships and ensuring safety and compliance.

As a capable operations leader, you will collaborate with Finance on budget design and improvements to optimize performance and productivity across food service, facility support, custodial, and other services as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree level education preferred in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.
• Ability to focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship and growing a strong business.
• Savvy interpersonal skills to communicate with clients, senior management, and support staff.
• Read/understand contractual requirements to address operational issues.
• Experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality.
• Experience leading through other managers.
• Experience creating and managing a department budget and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team that provides operational expertise in contracted services with hands-on execution management.
• Manages client and community relationships at the location to optimize service and satisfaction.
• Builds and leads a management team capable of achieving objectives.
• Recommends methods and strategies for service improvement based on contractual obligations.
• Partners with Finance to manage a budget and improve financial performance.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and records.
• Upholds Aramark standards of operation and safety at all times.
