Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a responsible General Manager to run a moving and storage center. You will hire staff, monitor inventory, and manage equipment to keep the center profitable and efficient.

The role involves solving problems as they arise in a fast-paced environment. You will perform profit/loss analyses, mentor new team members, and manage the personnel budget while ensuring top-quality customer care.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of management experience in retail or another service industry with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction.
• Organizational expertise and proven management proficiency in a high-volume retail operation with P&L accountability.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage one of our moving and storage centers to keep it profitable and efficient by hiring staff, tracking inventory and managing equipment.
• Perform profit/loss analyses and hire/mentor new team members.
• Manage the personnel budget, track inventory, and ensure customers receive the highest level of care.
• Keep premises clean and secure; coordinate with U-Haul University for ongoing education.
