U-Haul is seeking a General Manager to oversee a moving and storage center, ensuring profitability, staff effectiveness, inventory control, and safe equipment handling. You will solve problems as they arise in a fast-paced environment and lead a team to deliver high-quality customer care.

The role includes on-the-job development, potential for advancement, and a focus on customer satisfaction. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualificações

• 1-3 years of management experience in retail or service industry with P&L accountability.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Strong organizational and computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the fleet to deliver clean and well-maintained equipment.
• Perform profit/loss analyses to ensure center profitability.
• Hire and mentor new team members.
• Track and itemize inventory.
• Manage the personnel budget.
• Ensure customers receive the highest quality of care.
• Keep track of fuel receipts and petty cash.
• Maintain a secure, safe work environment.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
