Job summary

America’s Best, part of National Vision, is seeking a General Manager in Alabaster, AL to lead store operations and drive sales while ensuring top‑tier patient care. You will manage staffing, budgeting, merchandising, and daily activities to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You’ll coach teams, monitor performance, and align with brand standards, safety, and corporate policies. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with 5+ years of retail leadership valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily store operations, including staffing, inventory management, bookkeeping, planning, and enforcing company policies.
• Lead, train, and develop associates through coaching and growth opportunities.
• Monitor store performance and guide associates to deliver exceptional customer and patient experiences.
• Partner with the Doctor to ensure every patient receives the highest level of care.
• Conduct store audits and uphold quality, merchandising, and service standards.
