Job summary

Popeyes is seeking a General Manager in Houston to lead daily restaurant operations, drive guest satisfaction, and manage teams to deliver exceptional service. You will oversee food quality, cleanliness, and safety while driving revenue through people leadership and local marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities include recruiting and developing staff, coaching managers, managing inventory and costs, and ensuring adherence to health standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree a plus).
• 3–5 years of restaurant management experience, ideally as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Financial and business acumen, including understanding of P&L statements.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards in food quality, guest service, and cleanliness.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop top talent for all team positions.
• Motivate and coach team members and managers to achieve goals and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Oversee inventory management, food and labor costs, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Drive sales growth and profitability through operational excellence and local marketing.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and administrative tasks efficiently.
