Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking a General Manager to lead restaurant operations and a team of employees. You will recruit, train, and supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure guests enjoy a high-quality experience. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and adherence to company policies.

Minimum 50 hours per week with irregular shifts, including nights and weekends. This on-site position offers growth opportunities within a fast-paced QSR environment.

Qualifications

• Restaurant management experience required.
• At least 3 years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Knowledge of labor laws and safety regulations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train and supervise staff.
• Manage staff compensation per company guidelines.
• Oversee daily drive-in operations to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate opening/closing duties and shift coverage.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Plan and forecast labor, food, and inventory to control costs.
• Lead team meetings and ensure adherence to standards.
• Maintain records and prepare operational reports.
• Develop and implement local marketing and business plans.
