Dish Society is hiring a General Manager for our Austin South First location. We’re a fine fast casual concept blending counter service with chef-driven kitchen excellence, offering scratch-made, locally sourced menus and an award-winning brunch.

As General Manager, you’ll drive business, develop your team, and cultivate a culture where hospitality shines and growth thrives in a vibrant neighborhood setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant General Manager or multi-unit experience (fast casual, upscale casual, or full service preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Proven ability to manage labor, inventory, and financial goals
• Passion for hospitality, great food, and creating memorable guest moments
• Ability to work 50–60 hours per week, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• ServSafe and TABC certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing a high-performing team
• Maintaining a positive, inclusive, and guest-focused culture
• Managing financial performance: labor, cost of goods, and store-level P&L
• Upholding operational and service standards across all dayparts
• Coaching team members and creating growth opportunities
• Handling scheduling, hiring, training, and performance management
• Ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all health regulations
• Leading by example on the floor during peak shifts
