Modern Machining Solutions Inc. seeks a General Manager to own the HVAC/plumbing division, oversee daily operations, and drive profitability. You will manage field technicians, dispatch, and P&L while ensuring safety and quality.

The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and strategic growth within a fast-paced environment. You will lead cross-functional teams, optimize field workflows, and expand commercial maintenance contracts and residential programs while upholding a strong brand

Qualifications

• Three to five years of construction project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction science or related field, or equivalent certification.
• Extensive HVAC and general construction knowledge.
• California driver license with clean DMV record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills.
• Typing skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, overtime, and weekends.

Responsabilités

• P&L ownership: manage the division's budget and pricing models.
• Lead licensed plumbers, apprentices, and office staff; foster accountability and safety.
• Oversee dispatch, scheduling, and job workflows to maximize technician efficiency.
• Develop sales strategies to expand maintenance contracts and market share.
• Serve as final escalation for customer inquiries and disputes.
