Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a General Manager to lead our HVAC/plumbing division, optimize daily operations, and scale revenue. You will own P&L, supervise field technicians, and drive profitability through strategic pricing and efficient workflows.

You will recruit and mentor plumbers and staff, ensure safety compliance, and expand commercial maintenance contracts and residential plans while maintaining outstanding customer relations and a strong brand reputation.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in managing projects in construction.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC and general construction trades.
• California Driver License with clean DMV record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Experience with job costing, scheduling, and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• P&L ownership: manage budget, costs, and pricing to hit gross margin targets.
• Team leadership: recruit, train, and mentor licensed plumbers, apprentices, and staff.
• Operational excellence: oversee dispatching, scheduling, and workflows.
• Business growth: develop strategies to expand maintenance contracts and memberships.
• Customer relations: escalate and resolve project disputes to protect brand reputation.
