RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in Los Angeles seeks a General Manager to lead our HVAC/plumbing division, driving profitability and growth. You will own the division's operations and financials, from field teams to P&L management, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and service quality.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in construction project management, strong HVAC knowledge, and a track record of leading teams.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience managing projects in construction; or a related degree with experience.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC and general construction trades.
• California Driver License with clean DMV record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel; ability to use job costing and scheduling software.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple priorities.
• Eligible for flexible scheduling, overtime and weekend work as required.
• Familiarity with job costing, scheduling, and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• P&L ownership: manage budget, costs, and pricing to hit gross profit targets.
• Team leadership: recruit, train, and mentor plumbers, apprentices, and staff.
• Operational excellence: oversee dispatch, scheduling, and workflows.
• Business growth: develop sales strategies for maintenance contracts and memberships.
• Customer relations: act as escalation point for inquiries and disputes.
