Placemakr, Inc. is seeking a General Manager to lead property operations with a hands-on, people-first approach.

You will drive financial performance, guest experiences and team development across shifts in a remote-first organization that values flexible scheduling and biannual in-person gatherings across the US. You will report to Area Managers and collaborate with non-property leaders to push for world-class service, accountability and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience in management, business administration or hospitality.
• 3+ years in a leadership role within retail, food & beverage, hospitality or similar.
• Minimum 1+ year multi-department leadership; retail/ hospitality experience preferred.
• Scheduling flexibility including evenings, overnights and weekends.
• Curious, resilient and creative problem-solver with change-management skills.
• Strong judgment and ability to translate ideas into impact.
• Experience leading non-exempt and department leaders with clear expectations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels.
• World-class motivator with capability to lead through change.
• Lead by example and embody core values; adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand/move for extended periods as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead with curiosity, oversee building operations, people, service and finances.
• Provide exceptional guest/resident experiences and trusted local insights.
• Set safety, security and compliance standards and drive accountability.
• Maintain a flexible schedule aligned to business needs and shifts.
• Develop, engage and succession-plan for property team members.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition for hiring top talent locally.
• Own front/back-of-house and admin/budget functions; drive improvements.
• Partner with Area/non-property leaders to exceed service and financial standards.
• Offer hands-on support and strategic thinking across the team.
• Build cross-team partnerships to shape sales, revenue and marketing strategies.
• Drive NOI and financial success through budgeting and SOP adherence.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
