Job summary

Aramark in Washington, VA is seeking a General Manager to plan, manage, and guide multiple contracted services for a client typically generating $2-15M+ in revenue. You will lead a team to deliver excellent service across food service, facility support, custodial services, and more.

This leadership role requires financial acumen, relationship building with the client, and a focus on safety. You will build and develop a management team, manage a budget with the Finance team, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities or Business Management.
• Strong client service focus and business-building mindset.
• Proven interpersonal skills with clients, senior management and staff.
• Ability to read and implement contractual requirements and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team delivering operational expertise in contracted services with hands-on management.
• Manages client and community relationships at the location and develops plans to optimize service.
• Builds and leads a management team to achieve objectives.
• Recommends methods and resources for service improvement and growth based on contractual obligations.
• In partnership with Finance, manages a budget and designs improvements to optimize financial performance.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and Aramark standards.
