Job summary

Aramark is seeking a General Manager to plan, manage, and guide multiple contracted services for a client typically generating $2-15M+ in revenue. You will lead operations across food service, facility support, custodial, retail, lodging, and transportation to meet operating and financial goals.

You will build and lead a management team, manage client relationships, and develop plans to maximize service quality and customer satisfaction, while collaborating with Finance on budgets to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree level education preferred in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities or Business Management.
• Ability to focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship, and growing a strong business.
• Savvy interpersonal skills to communicate with clients, senior management, and support staff.
• Comfort reading, understanding, and implementing contractual requirements to address issues.
• Meaningful experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality.
• Proven ability to lead through other managers.
• Experience creating and managing a department budget and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team that provides operational expertise in contracted services while providing hands-on execution management of operations.
• Manages the client and community relationships at the location, developing plans to provide optimal service and drive satisfaction.
• Builds and leads a management team capable of carrying out organizational objectives.
• Recommends methods, resources, and implementations for service improvement and growth based on contractual obligations.
• In partnership with Finance, manages a budget and assists in design of improvements to optimize performance.
• Manages compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and keeps records and reports.
• Ensures compliance with Aramark standards of operation including safety standards and Business Conduct Policy.
