Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a General Manager to lead an optical office, creating a collaborative, patient‑focused environment with doctors, vendors and staff to deliver exceptional eyecare.

You will own office performance, including patient experiences, financial results, and team development, reporting to the District Manager with some evening and weekend shifts. Join a purpose-driven team and help patients see, look, and be their best while growing your career.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or relevant years of experience in a management role (Retail/Hospitality strongly preferred).
• Experience leading teams and driving sales and operational objectives in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Build and foster a purpose-driven team through recruitment and onboarding, plus ongoing training.
• Own financial success of the office by driving KPI performance and responsible for P&L.
• Collaborate with doctors, home office support, and staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Deliver and coach on patient experiences with flawless execution and real-time guidance to colleagues.
• Maximize optometric partnerships through doctor and coverage availability.
• Lead Doctor of Optometry business partnership and on-going relationship.
• Maintain HR policies and a safe, productive work environment for team members and patients.
• Lead performance and development in partnership with District Manager for all team members.
• Ensure optical merchandise meets standards and patient needs.
