Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager I - Distribution to lead warehouse operations across a national footprint in a role with strong P&L accountability and strategic process development. You will guide a team of Operations Managers, optimize warehouse performance, and ensure safety and efficiency while maintaining close customer relations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience
• 2+ years in supply chain, warehousing or distribution
• Experience in 3PL/contract logistics preferred
• Staff management required
• P&L management preferred
• Project management preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• WMS experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing and shipping goods
• Develop strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs and boost productivity
• Lead and coach Operations Managers and staff to build a strong team culture
• Ensure safety and policy compliance, maintain a safe, efficient environment
• Utilize WMS and automation to track inventory and identify improvements
• Manage vendor relationships and site operations per the contract
• Prepare reports on performance, inventory, and metrics for decision making
• Maintain strong customer relationships and drive satisfaction
• Own the site's P&L and contribute to business results
• Present Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews to customers
