Job summary

H. T. PROF Group in Petersburg, VA, seeks a General Operations Manager for our Richmond, VA area operations. This role leads production, sales processes, and team growth, requiring deep knowledge of custom residential construction and experience in production-building across multiple homes.

The candidate will drive branch performance, manage Budgets, supervise staff, subs and vendors, and maintain a high-energy servant-leader approach to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate must possess strong knowledge of custom residential construction, be familiar with production building (multiple homes at once), have a hard work ethic, strong problem-solving skills, and a servant-leader management style.

Responsibilities

• Review new leads with Sales Team
• Review advertising and approve budget
• Updates with Division President weekly
• Review projections and challenges with managers & Corporate leadership
• Job inspection when necessary
• Final Review meetings
• Recruit/hire/train/mentor/supervise employees, subs and vendors
• Networking expertise
• Negotiate contracts & Hire subs and suppliers
• Review overhead costs and general P&L
• Address customer concerns & Communicate resolutions
