Job summary

Red Energy is seeking a General Manager Commercial to lead the Retail division's commercial performance. You will own revenue, costs, margin, pricing execution, and product profitability across the retail portfolio, reporting to the Chief Customer Officer.

You will drive governance, risk management, and executive reporting, while influencing strategic decisions and prioritising major investments. A hybrid work model and senior leadership exposure are key features.

Qualifications

• Significant executive experience leading commercial management, pricing, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Proven track record of delivering commercial outcomes in regulated environments.
• Expertise in pricing, profitability analysis, and project/resource prioritisation.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with Executive/Board audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing, forecasting, and commercial budgeting teams.
• Evaluate new business propositions and growth opportunities with financial modeling.
• Collaborate with Strategy & Growth to assess expansion into adjacent markets.
• Build and mentor the Commercial team and govern commercially across the enterprise.
• Deliver reporting to support Executive, Committee, and Board decisions.
