Job summary

Round1 Entertainment Inc. is seeking a General Manager for a California bowling/arcade venue. The GM will drive revenue, manage costs, schedule staff, and uphold brand standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will lead department heads, train teams, monitor customer service, and ensure safety, inventory, and compliance across all store operations. This role demands strong leadership and a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; GM experience also acceptable.
• 3+ years of GM management experience in a fast-casual/arcade or entertainment venue.
• Superior customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff; manage scheduling and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead store sales and profit projections as directed by executives.
• Meet/exceed sales goals via policy execution and customer service.
• Directly supervise department managers and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide operational and customer service training for all staff.
• Investigate employee issues with HR involvement; document outcomes.
• Schedule staff and manage labor budgets; prepare monthly reports.
• Present performance reviews and development plans to staff.
• Maintain store image through displays and customer flow optimization.
• Oversee safety, loss prevention, audits, and regulatory compliance.
