We’re working with an exciting new client in Manhattan, exclusively, and they’re looking for a GM or Restaurant Director to lead one of the city’s most talked-about restaurants. This really is an amazing oportunity and one for a special individual looking for a career defining role.

The restaurant

Stunning. Atracts VIP's like flames to moths. Open BLD with Breakfast & lunch around 80 to 100 covers, dinner and weekends 150 to 180 per service. The food is Modern European with some fusion. There’s also an incredible event space that’s perfect for a creative mind, plus very high-end client takeovers and event sell outs regularly to oversee.

You

• You live and breathe New York. You know the neighbourhoods, the people and the pace, and you want this restaurant to become part of the fabric of its community. You know NYC labour laws and regulations inside out, and you’re just as comfortable with landlords, contractors and local community boards as you are on the floor on a Saturday night.
• You lead people well and you talk to everyone well, from the dish team to the investors. You think strategically, know the P&L better than the Subway and you have real flair for the high-end side of New York life and the glitterati within it.
• Ideally you have worked in Michelin or fine dining in NYC and know your way around creating guest expereince of the highest level.
• You will be happy and in your element driving the business forward, working closely with the Executive Chef and will take the running of the restaurant as your baby..
