Job summary

1915 South is hiring a General Manager for the Harvey, LA location. The GM will own the store’s people, sales performance, operations and guest experience, and will be accountable for hitting budget and developing leaders.

This role focuses on delivering a guest-centric experience and driving value across the store. Key duties include sales leadership, customer experience, inventory and cash handling, facilities oversight, talent development, scheduling, training and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years retail leadership experience in high-volume or furniture environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations including sales leadership and floor execution.
• Drive guest experience and customer service excellence.
• Manage inventory, promotions, and cash handling.
• Lead talent development and coaching, scheduling and performance management.
• Prepare KPI reports and participate in management meetings.

Position Summary:

The General Manager owns the entire store- people, sales performance, operations, and guest experience. This role is accountable for hitting budget, developing leaders, and ensures value is driven through a guest-centric experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, required. College degree, preferred.
• Experience: 3-5 years of retail leadership experience in high-volume or furniture retail environment, required.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

• Physical Demands: Standing/walking for extended periods; occasional lifting.
• Work Environment: Retail Sales Floor
• Schedule: Weekdays, Weekends, and Holidays, as required.
