Beyond Catering in Glen Ellyn, IL is seeking a General Manager in Training (GMIT) to develop future General Managers and participate in our Managing Partner Program, which creates pathways to ownership, profit-sharing opportunities, and long-term leadership within the organization.

The role focuses on achieving sales targets, managing budgets, supervising staff, and upholding restaurant standards while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous development.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead 10+ team members per shift.
• Experience with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant practices, concepts and procedures.
• Strong administrative, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritizing skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct labor, food cost variances, repairs and maintenance, discounts, and other direct expenses

• Determine advancement/termination
• Develop employees into shift managers
• Provide guidance to our talented & motivated team and lead them toward success
