Beyond Catering in Algonquin, IL is seeking a GMIT to develop future General Managers and to participate in a Managing Partner Program with profit-sharing opportunities within the Buona organization.

The role focuses on leading a large team, achieving sales targets, managing budgets, labor, and food costs while enforcing training programs and policies to drive long-term success and career growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead 10+ team members per shift.
• Work with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant practices and procedures.
• Strong administrative, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritizing skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets
• Recognize all revenue areas & development strategies to impact sales
• Enforce and execute advertising and marketing plans, and HR and training materials
• Manage and control direct expenses
• Direct labor, food cost variances, repairs and maintenance, discounts, and other direct expenses
• Selection, retention, supervision, and training of all employees
• Conduct quarterly reviews
• Adhere to established training programs
• Determine advancement/termination
• Develop employees into shift managers
• Provide guidance to our talented & motivated team and lead them toward success
• Embrace our balanced corporate structure and strong, family-culture
